CHARACTERS
this assignment introduces students to digital tools, and in particular adobe illustrator. for the assignment students are tasked with creating a character of themselves. they use an image to work from with the additional instruction to only use 3 tools: the square tool, the circle tool and the pathfinder tool.
by limiting the amount of tools that can be used, students are able to become familiar with some of illustrators most commonly used commands/processes.
